    The registration for CUET (UG) – 2023 was opened on February 9, 2023, and was scheduled to close on March 12, 2023.

    Extension of registration period

    Due to requests from candidates, the registration period for CUET - 2023 was extended up to March 30, 2023. Candidates were given an additional 18 days to complete their registration process.

  7. CUET UG 2023 – Establishment of Free Examination Help Centres

     

    To encourage and enable increased participation from applicants throughout India, it has been decided by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to establish CUET (UG) - 2023 Examination Help Centres to raise awareness among ambitious applicants. This will aid in providing applicants with equitable opportunity, particularly those from rural and isolated locations.

  8. Adopt CUET score for UG admissions - UGC notifies all Universities and HIEs

     

    The University Grants Commission (UGC) invited and urged vice-chancellors of all universities (state, deemed and private) and principals of all colleges in the nation to use the results of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 for admission into their undergraduate programs.

    “It is understood that many Higher education Institutions (HEIs) in the country either use marks of 12th - Board or conduct separate entrance examinations for admissions in UG programs.” reads the official UGC letter.

    For the past few years, officials have given this idea a lot of thought. This effort, according to UGC, would save students from taking multiple entrance tests that are scheduled on different dates and occasionally coincide, as well as provide students from other boards an equal opportunity.
