About CUET (UG) – 2023

Under the Ministry of Education (MoE), the Common University Entrance Test (CUET (UG) - 2023) is being introduced for admission to all Undergraduate (UG) Programs in all Central Universities for the academic session 2023-24.

The CUET will give a single platform and fair opportunities to candidates across the country. A single examination will enable the candidates to cover a wide outreach and be part of the admission process for various Central Universities. 

Recent Updates About CUET (UG) – 2023

The CUET (UG) - 2023 may be the next turning point in India's higher education system. The value of the test has increased as the University Grants Commission (UGC) has invited and advised vice chancellors of all universities (state, deemed, and private) and principals of all colleges in the country to adopt the CUET (UG) - 2023 results for admission into their undergraduate programs.

In response, a large number of new universities, institutes, autonomous colleges, and organizations joined CUET (UG) - 2023. According to the CUET official website, nearly 200 universities and colleges have chosen the CUET for undergraduate admission so far.

The NTA has extended the CUET (UG) - 2023 application deadline till March 30, 2023.

Top Educational Institutions in Mumbai Adopting CUET (UG) – 2023 Score Admissions In Undergraduate Programs For Academic Year 2023-24

  • SVKM's Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics

    According to NM College's notification, admission to all four-year undergraduate programs would be based on equal weightage of CUET and 12th Grade scores.

  • Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science & Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics

    "Admission to the first-year degree programs will be through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The details for the same will be displayed shortly." reads Mithibai College’s official notice.

  • Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU)

    According to the SVU College, it will be admitting students for its undergraduate courses using CUET scores from this year, but these will be applicable only to unaided courses. Read the Admission Brochure to learn more about the unaided courses.
